“The lesson topics are drawn from qualities that are important to develop in our own lives as well as to nurture in our children. The list is not definitive, but it includes many aspects of personal development that are vital if we want to open our hearts to a deeper relationship with spirit within ourselves and others.” From January through June we will be exploring:
- Who or What is God?
- Who was Jesus?
- The Bible and how we use it
- Learning from our mistakes
- Connecting with kindness
- Practicing humility

VBS 2019 Paddling Together
A heartfelt thank you to all these people: Ashley and Shane Pouliot, Sandra and Todd Ringlestein, Judy and Paul Lesoine, Sue and John Scudder, Jude Davis, Roger and Barbara Kohls, Nancy and Dave Hanson, Jean and Mel Heckman, Barbara Cotnoir, Gayle Bettinger, Priscilla Chase, Mary Jo Bailey and Lexie, Pam Abbott, Jay and Louise O’Donald, Marie Nomandin, Peg Young, Bev Charest, Paul and Lynn Worth, Kate Young Wilder, Pastor Bob. When the request for help went out, you all eagerly stepped forward and said What can I do to help? Even though everyone went home exhausted each evening, we all laughed, sang, learned, and laughed some more with the children. Thanks for answering the call to be the hands and feet of Christ.
Be on the look out for Mitchell Moose, Bernadette Bear, Lucy Loon, and Timothy R. Trout again next summer as they continue to learn what it takes to PADDLE TOGETHER. For now, enjoy the Video of our 2019 VBS program.
With gratitude, Linda Schneider
