A Scout is Reverent. Scouting’s Declaration of Religious Principle states, “No matter what the religious faith of the members may be, this fundamental need of good citizenship should be kept before them.”

Cub Scouts, Scouts, adult Scouters, and parents are all invited to participate in this virtual tour of various faith traditions. Come to learn about the tenets and practices of faiths that may be different than your own. You may even learn something new about your own faith tradition. Through understanding we
build mutual respect, acceptance and appreciation of one another.

There is no charge for this event. Scouts and Scouters a like can participate online or in-person. Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

After welcoming remarks and a comparative religion video, participants will join representatives from several faith traditions. We will close with comments from participants and a Kahoot game.
